Update on SEATUC 2020

Warmest greetings from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).

KMUTT as the host of SEATUC 2020 would like to express our gratitude for your kind patience and understanding on the postponement of the event.

To ensure utmost safety of every participants and to effectively prevent the outbreak of COVID-19, KMUTT and the SEATUC organizing committees namely Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) and Institut Tecknologi Bandung (ITB) has discussed and come to the conclusion that it is best for all the participants to present their works online instead of physically be at the conference venue. Therefore, the SEATUC committee decides to publish the proceedings online at SEATUC website, and that will treat the papers as have been presented.

KMUTT would like to extend our moral support to all the countries and communities affected by this outbreak of COVID-19.


 

Postponement of SEATUC 2020

First of all, KMUTT, as the host of the 14th South East Asian Technical University Consortium (SEATUC 2020), would like to express our gratitude towards all of you for your interest in joining the event on February 27-28, 2020 in Bangkok.

In the light of increasing concerns of the current outbreak of COVID-19 (commonly referred to as Coronavirus), the SEATUC Organizing Committee has reviewed the feasibility of the event and has come to the conclusion after close consultation that the safety of our prospective SEATUC participants and our staff remains the utmost priority. Therefore, with our deepest regret, we would like to inform you that the SEATUC 2020 will be postponed until we gain a reasonable level of confidence that the spreading of the COVID-19 is settled down.

KMUTT remains committed to SEATUC 2020. Further details on the new schedule of SEATUC 2020 will be announced as soon as we have any development on this matter.

Once again, KMUTT would like to thank all of the participants for your immense support towards this conference so far, and express our sincere apologies towards the inconvenience caused. We wish to seek for your kind understanding of our difficult decision as we put your and our staff’s safety as our first priority in all decisions we made.
