■Points and needs of research

To alleviate various stresses causing degenerative change, we utilize state-of-the-art technologies such as in vivo imaging, with the theme of pursuing higher quality lifestyle, develop useful information and product prototype. We will disseminate these information through a mobile health care service developed at the same time. This service is equipped with a tool that can easily detect the user's behavior change based on the information provided and the physiological change resulting from the result. User health information is supported by self-medication by aggregating it on the healthcare platform built on the IoT communication platform.

1.Elucidation of unknown mechanism of action of existing food factors by in vivo imaging technology

・Conducted tests for healthy people against food factors whose mechanisms were elucidated

・Functional display Development of experiments and product prototypes necessary for food authorization

・Notification and acquisition of functionalized foods in collaboration with cooperating companies

2.Development of new training method for muscle strength improvement

・Implementation of training program for neighboring residents

・Extensive training program. Verification of social progress

・Development of training support equipment for the elderly

・Apply new training program, evaluate effectiveness

・Efficiency verification of training support tool and patent application

3.Development of a device that can simultaneously detect changes in vital / body composition / brain function

・IoT communication platform compatible, development of health care platform device application

・System optimization for the provision of mobile health care services

Confirm the effect of theaflavin, a polyphenol contained in black tea, on the circulation system

Effects of theaflavins contained in tea on general circulation and microcirculation;
Feasibility study in rodents and healthy people

■Outline of research

Drinking black tea has been reported to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Green tea catechin contained tea flavin polymerized in the course of fermentation, so it has been considered as a functional ingredient of tea, but the report was slight and the details were unknown. In this study, theaflavin lowered blood pressure, confirmed that its action is through the sympathetic nerve, and that not only animals but also humans exert its effect.

In the ankle joint flexor muscle group, the inner head of the gastrocnemius muscle which tired easily is trying to recover by frequent occurrence of activity change!?

Muscle rigidity change of the ankle joint flexor muscle group caused by sustained muscular strength demonstration at low intensity and frequency of change of activity between cooperating muscles

■Outline of research

It is known that each muscle of the cooperating muscles repeatedly acts and rests (= activity change) and reduces muscle fatigue one by one in successive muscular strength at low intensity, but as to its degree It was unknown. In this study, the isometric ankle joint dorsiflexion torque at low intensity is continuously exhibited, and the rigidity ratio of each streak of the gastrocnemius muscle inner head (MG), the lateral head (LG) and soleus muscle (SOL) before and after that Was quantified by ultrasonic shear wave elastography introduced in our department and we aimed to examine the relationship with muscle fatigue and activity change.
