SIT International Symposium on Gender Equality 2015

‐Empowerment of Women Researchers and Engineers towards achieving world-wide activity‐

Shibaura Institute of Technology strongly promotes realization of Gender Equality, especially, increase of women researcher, improvement of their research environment and empowerment of their glows partially supported by the fund “Initiative for Realizing Diversity in the Research Environment”of Human Resource Development Program for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan from 2013. Our gender equality environment is drastically improved. We will hold the international symposium on gender equality this December, the final year of the fund and report our activities by introducing some case-studies. In addition to our activity, we invite Ms. Monique Morrow (CTO-Evangelist-New Frontiers, Cisco Engineering Development), who has world-wide activities in ICT area and get the award of IEEE WIE 2014 in EU region, as a key-note speaker. We would like to make encouragements and empowerment of women researchers and engineers from the viewpoint of global activity thorough this symposium.
